I’ve been trying to find a way of saying this with out using the work ‘lockdown’ but its difficult to do. So I’ve opted to use the phrase ‘Christmas change freeze’.
OK, so what does this mean?
Well, we always do our best to maintain and improve our systems and services through out the whole year. The exception to this is normally during the Christmas and New Year period when we are not at our full strength.
So during our ‘Christmas change freeze’ we will not be carrying out our normal level of updates and maintenance on our services. The exception to this is emergency maintenance for example if a Hard Drive fails we would replace it like we would at any other time of the year.
We also close our phone lines and only monitor the support tickets a few times a day. Again important tickets like my VPS is down will get a reply but may not be our normal speedy reply.
So when is this all happening?
We will close our office 21st December 2021 at 8pm as normal and we will not open again until 8am 5th January 2022
